  • KIRSTEN BOWERS – FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHER

    My passion is delving deeply into the spirit of my subjects. My images explore, articulate and celebrate the unique beauty of animals, nature and the urban landscape.

    WOLFCUB PHOTOGRAPHS

    The primary focus of my work as a pet photographer has been my Belgian Shepherd WolfCub, with whom I share a deep spiritual bond. My photographs have earned him a worldwide collection of admirers who embrace his heroic beauty, grace of movement and mystical spirit. WolfCub continues to be a source of strength and inspiration to me, as well as to his fans, who appreciate his unique qualities and the way his essence is captured in my fine art photography.

    PET PHOTOGRAPHY

    My rapport, kinship and love of animals led to my work firstly as a dog walker/trainer and pet carer, and from then to a pet photographer. I am especially interested in the heroic, dark and comic visions of our companions, and in exploring the relationship between human and animal. While I am not a traditional pet photographer, I do accept occasional private commissions.

  • WHAT'S NEW?

    Head over to my facebook page, to see the latest WolfCub images, as well as cats, dogs and horses!

    Two of my images were given Honourable Mentions in the PWP International Call for Entries. There were around 1200 images submitted worldwide!

    I am working on a 'photographic novel' called 'Between Night and Day', with WolfCub as the hero. Will keep you posted here as to the progress. I am also doing some advanced creative dog training, which I am sure will extend WolfCub's already wonderful skills.
