Express yourself (2)
This is the second part of a trilogy of posts that focus on facial and bodily expressions of dogs and cats – I have included some of WolfCub’s friends this time. Wow, that’s what I think! Tonight I did a search as I was trying to remember a quote about cats at night for a picture I was working on. One of the hits I got was your page with cat pictures. Just blew me away. I love the textured background that you use, the expressions and movement that you’ve captured. The picture above of the dog running with his shadow is amazing but the one above it with the cat in the beam of light touched me. They are elusive creatures and I don’t think I’ve seen anyone capture them so well.

I love the one of him running on the beach with his shadow……….I once had an Irish Setter who would chase – not the birds up and down the beach – but the birds’ SHADOWS…….she’d paw at the sand whining, trying to get them out……
That would have been something to see Sherry!
Wonderful as usual! I love the WolfCub one where he is close up, showing his wonderful amber eyes against the black of his coat. Also the one where he is running on the beach in the sunset … I can almost hear the rhythm as his paws pound on the sand.

Another diversely beautiful set. The cat peeking out from under that red door remains an all time favorite. You truly capture the spirit of each of these beautiful animals.
